Lafayette Blvd
This was Lafayette Blvd in 1976.  In the left photo, the white building on the right at the boardwalk was the old municipal swimming pool and beach/boardwalk maintenance shack.  The photo on the right shows the boardwalk side of the building.  You're looking west from Lafayette Blvd.  Not many condos in the photo in this year ! (I liked it better that way)

Alot of damage from this Nor'Easter in 1944.  The clip on the left says "20 homes in the West End were swept out to sea" ( hopefully not with their occupants !!  Forgive me, I lost the name of the person who sent me these.
